## Stat profile

Per `src/content/tier-snapshots/index.json` traits snapshot, the Dull notes field reads "Negative — reroll." The snapshot does not enumerate a stat magnitude for Dull; per docs/04-tier-list.md §2.3.2, the four D-tier negatives (Slow / Weak / Fragile / Dull) are grouped as "negative — reroll immediately" without per-trait stat numbers in the published source tables. Dull's penalty sits in the cooldown column based on the trait's naming convention (paired against [Timer](/traits/timer/) which is the positive CDR specialist).

## Where this trait shines

It does not. Per docs/04-tier-list.md §2.3.2, Dull sits at the bottom of the FRVR-sourced tier list with no recommended ability pairing. The trait/ability matrix in docs §1.2.1 (Raid → [Reaper](/traits/reaper/)) and §1.2.2 (Survival/Infinite → [Flash](/traits/flash/)) names no D-tier negative; Rolasyum's matrix only lists usable picks.

Target outcomes after rerolling: ideally [Flash](/traits/flash/) (Survival/Infinite) or [Reaper](/traits/reaper/) (Raid); any Legendary ([Hunter](/traits/hunter/) / [Destroyer](/traits/destroyer/) / [Master](/traits/master/) / [Zombie](/traits/zombie/)) is acceptable as a bridge.

## Synergies & comparison

Dull has no positive synergy with any ability. Its CDR penalty is the inverse of what high-cooldown abilities need — pairing Dull with [Nen Prodigy](/abilities/nen-prodigy/) or [Sosuke](/abilities/sosuke/) (the two CD-heavy abilities per docs/04-tier-list.md §1.3 that require cooldown upgrade allocation) compounds their already-slow rotation. Replace Dull with [Timer](/traits/timer/) as a B-tier CDR alternative if Mythic traits are not yet rolled, or push for [Flash](/traits/flash/) which carries +20% CDR alongside +20% DMG.
