Gravity Field is the B-tier control gadget — a localized slow-zone that reduces zombie movement speed within radius. Functionally, a weaker version of Black Hole’s gravity-pull mechanic.

When Gravity Field beats Black Hole

Rarely — Black Hole is strictly better for AoE setup. Gravity Field is the bridge gadget for players who haven’t unlocked Black Hole yet. Roll past Gravity Field once Black Hole is in inventory.

Gravity Field’s role is to pre-stack zombies for AoE abilities — exactly Black Hole’s job, but with a weaker pull. Per the §1.2.2 Flash matrix, the canonical Survival / Infinite AoE damage dealers are Pride, Coyote, Shadow Monarch, and Spin — pair Gravity Field with any of these and the Flash trait. Pet pairing: Kurama (A-tier per snapshot, +15% DMG flat — Best raw DMG multiplier — glass-cannon pick per tier-snapshots/index.json pets note) maximizes the AoE damage on the slowed cluster. Replace Gravity Field with Black Hole on drop.

Acquisition

Per frontmatter, Gravity Field has rarity rare with credibility verified_single_source (FRVR tier list). The frontmatter does not record a drop rate. No specific unlock condition is documented in docs/04.
