Fortune
Trait
Effect
Loot-luck oriented trait — situational B-tier per FRVR. Lowers gear quality variance but does not boost offensive stats.
Fortune is the B-tier rare trait focused on loot-luck and drop variance. FRVR rates it B because the kit improves drop-quality but doesn’t compete with A-tier offensive traits in raw stat output.
When Fortune is worth running
Long Gravewalker grinds where drop-rate matters more than per-fight DPS — Fortune compounds with pets that already give +Drops (Igris, Colossus Titan) for a stack-luck farming build.
Stat profile
Per src/content/tier-snapshots/index.json traits snapshot, the Fortune notes field reads “FRVR-only; situational.” The snapshot does not enumerate stat magnitude; per docs/04-tier-list.md §2.3.2 the Fortune row lists stat bundle as not specified with Situational notes. No public source publishes a Fortune drop-luck percentage — the trait’s classification is loot-luck lean per the docs row, with the actual figure unsourced.
Where this trait shines
Per docs/04-tier-list.md §1.2.1 (Raid → Reaper matrix) and §1.2.2 (Survival/Infinite → Flash matrix), Rolasyum names no B-tier loot trait for any ability slot. Fortune’s situational use is farming-focused runs where drop quantity outweighs per-fight DPS. Per docs/04-tier-list.md §2.3.4, the docs-named drop-stacking pets are Colossus Titan (15% DROP / 15% COIN per the docs §2.3.4 stat bundle) and Igris (10% DROP / 10% COIN per §2.3.4) — Fortune layers an additional drop-bias slot on top of those pets.
Tier positioning
Per the tier-snapshots ranking, Fortune is rated B with sources_supporting: 1 (FRVR-only). Per docs/04-tier-list.md §2.3.2, the FRVR-only B-tier cluster (Fortune / Swift / Timer / Tough / Fleet) all carry needs_check credibility on stat bundles; AllThings.how confirms S/A tier names but does not extend to B-tier specifics.
Synergies & comparison
Fortune is the only B-tier trait with no Mythic equivalent — Flash and Reaper (both Mythic per the tier-snapshots S-tier rows) carry +7% Coins / +7% EXP (Flash notes field) but neither offers a drop-quality bonus. This makes Fortune the closest thing to a “specialty trait” rather than a strict downgrade. Per docs/04-tier-list.md §1.4.1 (murd’ Title Database), the Wealthy title (+15% Coins) and Atomic title (+30% Drops — per docs §1.4.1 the highest Drops bonus) layer drop-percent on top of pet bonuses; Fortune fits into that economy-stacking loadout for Coyote farming runs at Mastery-100 (where Cero Metralleta clears waves per docs/04 §2.2 “Best late-game farming”). Outside farming use, replace Fortune with Flash for general-purpose Survival/Infinite play.
