On the possible Marvel reading

docs/04-tier-list.md §2.3.1 logs the Blade IP as “generic / Blade (Marvel?)” — a speculative reading that the in-game name could be a reference to Marvel’s vampire-hunter Blade rather than a pure generic-archetype label. The “(Marvel?)” annotation is explicitly a question mark in the docs; no source confirms this attribution, and the broader site stays IP-agnostic until the Discord faq surfaces an explicit character mapping (Tier 1 evidence has been the source of every confirmed IP-character mapping so far — Gyro for Spin, Naoya for Head of Hei, Cid Kagenou for Atomic, Goku for Saiyan, etc.).

Treat the Marvel reading as a question to verify, not a claim. Until a Tier 1 entry lands, the IP attribution stays at “generic blade-wielder archetype”.

How Blade compares to the other Tier-1-absent abilities

• Versus S/A/B-tier: any of King of Curses, Sosuke, Nen Prodigy is an upgrade. The S-tier targets per Foong’s Meta Build are Spin, Saiyan, Pride, Shadow Monarch, Coyote, and Atomic.
