Kit

Detailed skill table NOT enumerated by any source as of 2026-05-13. Single-source D-tier placement based on FRVR's roster article — no per-skill DMG numbers, no recommended trait, no IP attribution beyond the generic 'ninja' label.

Ninja is a D-tier ability per FRVR’s roster article — quickly outclassed by any S/A/B-tier ability and not recommended for any meta build.

Why this entry is needs_check

The D-tier placement comes from a single source (FRVR), and:

  • Tier 1 / Discord faq: not listed in Foong’s base-damage table or Rolasyum’s trait-pairing breakdown
  • Tier 1 / Discord meta build threads: never recommended in Raid, Survival, or Infinite mode loadouts
  • Tier 2 / other aggregators: Beebom, PGG, BloxInsider, FFBooyah, AllThings.how do not mention Ninja in their tier lists

This is documented as a single-source D-tier mention rather than a fully verified placement. The page exists primarily so that the roster is complete — players searching “Anime Apocalypse Ninja ability” land on an honest “we know it’s bottom-tier and that’s all” page rather than a fabricated stat block.

Honest summary

  • Status: roster-confirmed exists, placement-confirmed bottom band
  • Recommended for: nothing — pick any S/A/B-tier ability instead
  • IP attribution: generic “ninja” archetype; no anime IP specifically referenced by name in any source

When to revisit

If a Discord faq entry surfaces with a Ninja kit description, or if 2+ aggregators independently corroborate the D-tier placement with detail, this entry will be promoted to verified with stat data filled in. Until then, treat it as a directory entry with a credibility chip on the front.

How Ninja compares to the other Tier-1-absent abilities

Ninja is one of three abilities in the roster that does not appear in Foong’s 13-ability base-damage table (docs/05-units-heroes.md §1.1). The other two abilities in this Tier-1-absent group are Stark (placed A-tier by PGG) and Blade (placed D-tier by FRVR, same as Ninja).

Both Ninja and Blade share the same single-source-FRVR D-tier placement; docs/04-tier-list.md §2.3.1 labels Ninja’s IP as “generic shinobi” and Blade’s as “generic / Blade (Marvel?)” — no Tier 1 confirmation either way. Pick any S/A/B-tier ability over either of these two until concrete kit data lands.

Meta positioning

Per the cross-source roster table in docs/04-tier-list.md §2.3.1, Ninja sits in the D row labelled “Outclassed — needs_check (FRVR only)”. Foong’s Meta Build (docs/04-tier-list.md §1.1) — which enumerates the optimal Raid / Survival / Infinite weapons — never names Ninja in any of the three mode lists. Rolasyum’s trait-pairing matrix (docs/04-tier-list.md §1.2) never names Ninja under either the Raids (Reaper) or Survival/Infinite (Flash) categories.

The Tier 1 update-cycle note (docs/04-tier-list.md §5) says that new abilities tend to launch S-tier (Spin / Cid Kagenou / Naoya are recent examples that crowded the top). Ninja’s absence from every Tier 1 dump after the SBR+AOT update is consistent with a low-rarity legacy slot that has not been refreshed and is being passed over by the kit power curve.

Synergies & comparison

Because no Tier 1 source enumerates a Ninja kit, trait, pet, or title synergy, this section cannot list a Foong / Rolasyum / Lunatic recommendation. The honest answer is:

  • Versus Blade: same single-source-FRVR D-tier placement, same “no kit data” status. Coin-flip — pick neither for meta play.
  • Versus Zorro: Zorro is C-tier per docs/04-tier-list.md §2.3.1 with Tier 1 base dmg g = 200 documented. Zorro is the floor of the “documented” roster; Ninja is below that floor.
  • Versus S/A/B-tier: any of King of Curses, Sosuke, Nen Prodigy, or any Foong-recommended S-tier (Spin / Saiyan / Pride / Shadow Monarch / Coyote / Atomic) is the upgrade path.
  • Pet / trait / title: no recommendation — until a Tier 1 stat enumerates Ninja, any Colossus Titan + Flash combo will outperform a Ninja build by default, but the math cannot be shown without a base-damage table.
